Text Messaging and Communications Policy

Beemok Hospitality Holdings LLC, along with our subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “BHC,” “the Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our guests and prospective guests’ (“Covered Individuals”) information. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard personal information when communicating with Covered Individuals through 3rd-party SMS/MMS text messaging services as part of our authorized business operations. It also outlines Covered Individuals’ rights and choices regarding such communications.
This policy is designed to comply with A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code) messaging requirements established by U.S. mobile carriers.
Purpose of Text Messaging
We use text messaging to provide Covered Individuals with information, including but not limited to:
- Reservations and bookings
- Guest services and registration
- Alerts
- Scheduling
- Two-way communication for business purposes (if applicable)
Participation in text messaging programs is voluntary and not required. Participation in text messaging programs will not affect eligibility or access to BHC services.
Information We Collect
When you opt to receive text messages from BHC, we may collect the following information:
- Your mobile phone number
- Your name and, if applicable, booking ID
- Messaging interaction data (delivery status, timestamps, opt-in/opt-out events)
- Message content exchanged between you and the Company
We do not collect sensitive personal information via SMS unless required for legitimate business or safety reasons.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely for legitimate Company purposes, including:
- Delivering business-related text messages
- Verifying your identity when needed
- Responding to your messages
- Operating, monitoring, and improving our communication systems
- Maintaining compliance with carrier, industry, and legal requirements
We do not sell or rent personal information collected through text, and we do not share with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.
Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, including but not limited to customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Third-Party Messaging Providers
We may use approved 3rd-party messaging platforms to deliver text messages. These providers process data on our behalf and are required to maintain:
- Data security protections
- A2P 10DLC compliance
- Confidentiality of a Covered Individual’s information
We do not permit third-party providers to use a Covered Individual’s data for their own purposes.
Consent & Opt-In Requirements
Covered Individuals will receive text messages only after providing valid consent. Consent may be given via:
- Written acknowledgment
- Digital form or portal
- Text message opt-in (e.g., replying “YES”)
Consent to receive text messages is not required. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving marketing and non-mandatory program text messages at any time by responding: “STOP”.
Once we receive your STOP request, we will cease sending marketing and non-mandatory program messages to that number except for a confirmation of your opt-out.
You may re-enroll at any time by contacting Company or replying “START” (if available).
Opt-out may not apply to certain mandatory emergency or safety alerts as permitted by law and Company policy.
Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Covered Individuals’ information, which may include:
- Encryption, where supported
- Access controls
- Vendor security assessments
- Monitoring, including for unauthorized access
Despite these measures, electronic communications involve inherent risks, and no system can guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain text message data only as long as required for:
- Business operations
- Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations
- A2P 10DLC audit requirements
- Internal recordkeeping policies
After retention periods expire, information will be securely deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
Covered Individuals have the right to:
- Request access to their text message–related personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Opt out of text communications at any time
- Ask questions or raise concerns about this policy
Requests can be made through the Company or the appropriate internal contact.
Prohibited Use
Company text-messaging channels may not be used to transmit:
- Sensitive personal data unless specifically required
- Harassing, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
- Confidential Company information unless communication is authorized and appropriate safeguards are in place
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Updated versions will be posted in the applicable systems and/or distributed as appropriate.
