When my family and I moved to Charleston over twenty years ago, we were in awe of the beauty of the city as well as the kindness of the people we met. At BHC, we have worked hard to create hospitality offerings that are true to this unique culture. 2021: BHC Is Founded
Our collection originated in 2021 with the acquisition of The Charleston Place in the heart of downtown Charleston.
2022: A New Chapter Begins
The Charleston Place was reestablished as an independent, locally owned hotel.
2022: The Riviera Reborn
The Riviera Theater reopened as a live performance venue for the first time in its nearly 100-year history.
2023: Sorelle's Grand Opening
Our Italian fine-dining restaurant and mercato opened in one of Charleston's most historic architectural settings.
2026: Introducing The Cooper
BHC's vision of a true luxury waterfront hotel in Charleston is our most ambitious project to date.
